Keep up with the latest on Bobby Charles' run for Governor. From rising crime to Janet Mills' unaffordable taxes and fees, we're keeping up with it all.

Trump knows what he is doing. Slashing bureaucracy restores honesty. Half my life has been slashing bureaucracy, understanding their tricks, how they feel entitled, break the rules, normalize rule-breaking, and block accountability. From Reagan’s White House to oversight investigator for Gingrich, litigator to dismantler, I know all their tricks. In Maine, it is worse.

The Katahdin Circle isn’t just another donor club but it's the lifeline of this campaign. When you make a monthly commitment, you’re not just giving money.

Running for Governor, I am learning…involves striving to see things rightly, taking advice warmly given and criticism holding ground, while also considering the critic’s point. While I have long done this, running for office notches things up.

Outrageous article claims "Maine is Safe," downplays alarming danger Mainers face on a daily basis, criticizes my intention to rid the state of organized crime and illicit drug and human trafficking operations.

Bottom line: Maine is in crisis, the throes of multiple crises, from a feckless, ideologically lost governor and legislature spending, taxing, and slowly bankrupting Maine families, to the spiraling drug overdoses and drug crime, radiating circles of public insecurity and distrust.

Blue States are sinking. This is not Norman Rockwell’s America. Democrat-dominated Maine is becoming inner city Chicago, or DC, or Philly. Not a surprise, given Democrat polices, it must stop. It will be in 2027, but sooner is needed. Public pressure helps.

August 18th, 2025. Enough is enough. Another American was tragically killed today by an illegal alien. This should never have happened.

Bottom line: Either way, if you put your finger in the wind, you will feel a stiff wind building, and that wind is public anxiety over property taxes, which could easily develop into a Category 5 hurricane, a 2026 property tax revolt. Keep watching!

On September 21, Charlie Kirk’s widow did the unthinkable. Days after an assassin took her husband, father of their two young children, she stood before the world and God, and said: “I forgive him,” adding, “I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and it is what Charlie would do.”

Aren’t teachers amazing? A little girl lost her father at four years old. Her father’s name was Robert. She always wondered what life might have been had she not lost him. Still, she knew he was an avid reader and writer. So was her school teacher mother, later a school principal. So she loved reading.

On the campaign trail, you encounter all kinds. Some – the majority – lift your heart, encourage you to “fight the good fight,” let you know your values are theirs, that they are working for you, believe in you, are counting on you. That is heartening. On the other side are those…of whom the poet warns.
Bobby Charles is fighting for the future of Maine—protecting our communities, defending parental rights, and standing up for hardworking families. Your support fuels this movement.
