Maine Conservative and U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer prepares to take his message to the corrupt Augusta Democrats
LEEDS, Maine — FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Conservative Republican front runner Bobby Charles today won the Maine GOP Convention Straw Poll, continuing a clean sweep of every major public measure of the race.
Charles has now won every publicly available poll, including the Maine Wire Debate Poll, further cementing his position as the clear frontrunner heading into the June 9 primary.
Notably, this momentum comes despite Charles being outspent by nearly 100 to 1 by Augusta insiders, out-of-state interests, and establishment-backed opposition.
“I’m grateful for the overwhelming support from Republicans across Maine,” said Charles. “This campaign isn’t powered by insiders or big money. It’s powered by Maine people who are ready to cut crime, cut taxes, and end the corrupt nonsense in Augusta.”
The campaign’s message has continued to gain traction statewide, driven by a focus on public safety, economic relief, and accountability in state government.
“With the primary approaching, this race is about results,” Charles added. “If you want safer communities, lower taxes, and a government that works for you, I’d be honored to earn your vote on June 9.”
The Maine Republican primary will be held June 9.
Bobby Charles is a crime fighter, naval intelligence officer, and former federal investigator.
